    Chiriqui Gulf Islands Adventure

Panama Island Tour. Explore, relax and snorkle on the beaches of Isla Bolaños and Isla Gamez by motorboat. Your Panama Island Tour starts in Boquete, we will then drive to Pedregal, a small fishing village just a few minutes outside of David. From there, our licensed boat captain will navigate our 27′ Super Panga through the mangrove estuary of Laguna de Chiriqui, passing many local fishermen along the way. We’ll most likely have an opportunity to stop and buy fresh lobster, crab or shrimp from one of the local fishermen!
As we leave the estuary, we’ll enter the protected waters and uninhabited islands of Golfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park,a 14,740-hectare marine park that encompasses many uninhabited islands and serves as a refuge for howler monkeys, leatherback and hawksbill turtles, tiger-herons, and scores of exotic fish. The white sand beaches in Golfo de Chiriqui are a welcome reprieve from the hot black volcanic sand beaches at Las Lajas & Playa Barqueta, and the sun tends to shine over the Gulf even when it’s raining everywhere else!
We’ll go to a few of our favorite snorkeling spots and pass the late morning and better part of the afternoon lunching, exploring, swimming, relaxing in a hammock and playing on the white sand beaches of Isla Bolanos or Isla Gamez. The trip includes roundtrip transportation from Boquete, guide, snorkeling equipment, a hearty lunch with fresh fruit, cold drinks and a cooler if you choose to bring additional refreshments.
If you think that just one day on an uninhabited island in the Gulf of Chiriqui just isn’t enough, we agree with you and offer this trip as an overnighter! All camping gear and equipment, meals and guide are provided to make this the highlight of your Panama experience!
FULL DAY TOUR $ 90.00 per person
